Our regional wines draw from multiple vineyards on the peninsula, offering a broader, balanced expression of place rather than a single-site snapshot.
100% Pinot Noir from various subregions on the Mornington Peninsula: Tuerong: 29%; Red Hill South: 19%; Red Hill: 17%; Merricks: 15%; Merricks North: 11%; Shoreham: 6%; Flinders: 3%. Six clones are included: MV6: 37%; 115: 17%; Abel: 16%; D5: 13%; 777: 9%; D2V5: 8%. The fruit fermented entirely in open two- and three-tonne open fermenters and spent an average of six weeks on skins. The wines were pressed to tank, settled overnight, then stirred and transferred to older barriques and puncheons. The component of bunch-fermented wine in the blend is 25%.
The wine features red fruits, significant spice, and elements of gamey undergrowth. The mid-palate offers generous flavour, where red and blue forest berries are balanced by ripe bunch tannins and savoury, sour red fruit
The 2025 release is a blend of the following subregions: Merricks North 32%; Shoreham 21%; Tuerong 43%; and Flinders 2%. The clones are 548, 95, P58 and I10V5.
The 2025 Chardonnay was handpicked, pressed straight to barrel without any sulphur, and the oxidised juice was immediately inoculated. After primary fermentation, the barrels were seeded with a range of different malolactic bacteria and then left on gross lees until the end of the year without sulphur. Occasional stirring before filtration. No fining, except bentonite.
The wine shows more stone fruit on the nose than the last couple of vintages, which is in line with the warmer vintage conditions. Yellow nectarine, lemon verbena and spice. Juicy palate, with stone fruit and finishing with some savouriness and citrus zest
A single vineyard wine reflects the unique character of the site—its soil, aspect, and microclimate—captured as it was in that season. Volumes are small, and the focus is on letting the place guide the wine.
Single vineyard chardonnay
Pure, textural, and quietly complex. From a cool, south-facing vineyard in Shoreham, this Chardonnay offers layers of citrus curd, anise, and gentle spice. No new oak, just clarity, minerality, and a long, savoury finish. A refined, site-driven expression.
From 30-year-old vines in Flinders, this is a textural, savoury Chardonnay with layers of citrus, white miso, and subtle flint. Tightly coiled and mineral.
From 36-year-old vines in Tuerong, this Chardonnay balances power and precision. Citrus, stone fruit, and brioche meet flinty drive and fine texture. A benchmark expression of site and vintage.
Single vineyard Pinot noir
Bright and finely detailed, this Flinders Pinot shows red cherry, blue fruit, and subtle earth. It carries depth and lift in equal measure, with fine tannins framing a long, mineral-driven finish.
A precise, finely structured Pinot from Main Ridge’s elevated, wind-exposed slopes. Pommard and MV6 clones deliver red cherry, dried herb, and subtle earth, framed by taut acidity and fine tannins. Elegant, site-transparent, and built to evolve.
From a mature Tuerong site on clay-loam soils, this is a more structured expression of Mornington Pinot. Red cherry, raspberry and rhubarb meet savoury spice and subtle complexity from whole bunch fermentation. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a long, balanced finish.
